Goodness, I sure am thankful for who I am and the people I love and the opportunities I’ve been given.
Do you ever just feel a contentment so fulfilling that you can’t help but really appreciate every little thing that has helped shaped you into the person you are today? Thanksgiving is a great day to reflect on those little things. It’s also a day to be thankful for silly, seemingly insignificant things you take for granted everyday. Coffee. Shopping sprees. Warm hugs. Leisurely jogs. Christmas. I love taking time to remember who and what I’m thankful for.
You know what’s also amazing about Turkey Day? It’s is officially the start of the Christmas season, which is truly the best part of the entire year. Magic. ABC Family’s 25 days of Christmas. Ugly, yet charmingly festive, sweaters. Hot cocoa. It’s really here now, people. I don’t have to listen to the Christmas music I’ve been listening to since before Halloween alone anymore. The entire universe will finally be humming along.
I hope everyone had a happy, waffle-filled (my family skipped out on Turkey this year) Thanksgiving.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
